She guides them with kindness and sincerity towards fulfilling a dream: that of being more beautiful than ever and keeping the emotion of this big moment as a precious memento for eternity.

Can You Describe Yourself In A Few Words?
My name is Christine and I am the founder of the shop Au Boudoir du Mariage in Geneva. For over 25 years, I’ve been working in the fashion world, first in Paris then in Geneva.
Married to a man who is also passionate about fashion, and mother to a wonderful princess who wants to become a stylist… A family fond of the art of clothing.
Can You Tell Us A Bit About Your Shop Au Boudoir du Mariage?
Gladly! It is my second baby which fills my life with wonderful new people. It is a place where everything becomes true… Stairs lead you to the heart of the Boudoir, where beautiful stories are lived!
My shop is a secret world where professionalism, sincerity, good mood and guidance are nurtured.
Why Did You Choose the Industry of Wedding Dresses?
I was only a shop manager, but all my brides thought I owned the place. So, in order to enjoy total freedom, I decided to create my own universe. With my own choice of collections, designers, materials and styles.
I wanted, first and foremost, to have a beautiful range of different dresses at reasonable prices. Prices start at $1,013 (990.-CHF) because each bride has her own personality and that’s what I’m working on. Our motto is: “To each unique bride, her unique dress!”
What Is Your Background?
I was born in a family of merchants. My dad, a Frenchman, was a portrait photographer and my mum, from Geneva, worked with him in the shop. As such, I’ve always loved nurturing genuine relationships with customers.
I then studied in the Cours Florent in Paris, and had my own theatre company for 10 years. At the same time, I’ve always worked in fashion for designers like Ralph Lauren, Burberry or Escada. Then, 9 years ago, I discovered the universe of wedding dresses, and it was love at first sight!
How Do You Select the Types of Dresses and Designers?
I keep an ear out for new trends and new styles. I meet designers who show me their dresses, the materials they work with, which I highly value.
At the Boudoir du Mariage, I am happy to offer 7 houses of wedding dresses which each have their own universe: ceremony dress, glamorous dress, vintage dress, romantic dress, etc.
How Do You Coach A Bride With The Wedding Dress of Her Dream ?
We talk a lot… I need to know my bride before showing her some dress styles.
I am lucky enough to meet brides from all walks of life. At the shop we offer personalized services thanks to our workshop at the core of the Boudoir. We also offer wedding dress rentals and a bridal alteration service.
A Trend for Wedding Dresses?
Timeless! For me, the trend must stand the test of time. The bride will see the pictures for the rest of her life, the dress must walk through time with her.
