They chose to commit to each other amidst a field in this charming village. And it was very, very touching.
“Our love is something that is almost unbelievable”
Melanie and Kelly met first on a trip to Hawaii with a bunch of mutual friends. They instantly became friends and fell in love with each other over the next year. "Our connection is undeniable. We have so much fun together", they said.
When Kelly was in Hawaii they hung out the whole week. "I just got to know her more and when she wasn’t around me I found myself looking for her or wondering what she was doing. We got back home and still we would hang out at parties she was just on my mind all the time. She was so beautiful I wanted to be around her all the time", he expressed.
Their love blossomed rapidly.
Melanie said : "Kelly is so easy going and fun. I fell in love with him because of our deep connection. I couldn’t imagine life without him once we began dating. He is the person I want to share every experience with."
Kelly made the proposal. Christmas Eve, they were alone and decided to get a hotel downtown for the evening. They were going to dinner and Melanie was getting ready in the room. She couldn’t decide which dress to wear so she kept trying them on and showing Kelly. "I went to turn around to show him my third option and he said which would go best with this. When I turned around he was on his knee with a beautiful ring", says the bride.

Their intimate wedding ceremony was simple yet profound, and what stands out vividly in my memory is the intense emotion as Melanie and Kelly gazed into each other's eyes while I conveyed my heartfelt words to them.
“Marriage never meant that much to me and I wasn’t sure I’d want to do it again but Kelly is the epitome of a husband to me. He supports me, shares my life with me and embodies a perfect partner. Boyfriend, partner or fiancé just don’t seem like serious enough terms for the level of commitment we have for one another”, Melanie said.
