Some time ago, I was telling you about ceremonial entrance music with some ideas according to different styles.
Today, we are going to look at the release music of the bride and groom, which also has a great place in a secular ceremony. This is generally cheerful and catchy enough to set the tone for the rest of the festivities. We are happy, we are married, we release the pressure and we want to share this happiness with all the loved ones around us!
Here too the choice can be difficult as there are so many possibilities.
Here are some ideas in various styles. I based my selection on rather rhythmic, joyful songs that speak of love and timeless:
To start the party – Lovely Day , Bill Withers
In the same vein – Just the two of us , Grover Washington Jr
To dance under the moon – Dancing in the moonlight , King Harvest
Training – Starlight , The Supermen Lovers
To make everyone feel at home – Home , Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros
Sweet reverie on this perfect day – Daydream by The Lovin ‘Spoonful
It will make you want to move – Crazy Little Thing Called Love , Queen
It was the exit music of our secular ceremony – All the happiness in the world , Sinsemilia
Because we are happy, quite simply – Happy , Pharrell WIlliams
To groove, and even better if the wedding takes place in September – September , Earth, Wind & Fire
It is mandatory – Now that we found love , Heavy D & The Boyz
Very rhythmic, for a dancing outing – Love Foolosophy , Jamiroquai
For a meaningful reminder – Love is all , Roger Glover
And love everywhere – Love is in the air , John Paul Young
